- Quite a different experience for me than most other reviewers. Mine was purchased in 2023.\r\n\r\nI\'m disappointed with this organic matcha: Much astringency is default, though you can somewhat mitigate it by brewing at lower temperature (70° C). Be sure to sieve the matcha beforehand, for it is prone to clumping.\r\nOther notes are as described: slightly nutty and easy to frothe (creamy texture).\r\n\r\nWhen hitting that balance of brewing temperature, it is a good though definitely not remarkable matcha of the earthy variations (as opposed to fruity).\r\n\r\nHad this been at half the actual price, it could have been commendable. As it is, not so much.
