Matcha – The healthy green tea miracle
For Centuries Matcha, the ground green tea, was a strictly protected secret. Only the clergy and the imperial house were allowed to taste the immortality drink after it reached from China to Japan in the 8th century. At that time, Matcha tea has developed into the worldwide popular lifestyle drink. Matcha became known internationally more as an ingredient in sweets and chocolate than for its effect which led to its nickname of „Espresso of the Teas“. Matcha is generated exclusively from high-quality tea leaves, which are developed into a top product in a complicated production procedure in our own stone milling machines. For the maturation, the tea leaves need absolute darkness and hence are grown under straw or plastic mats.
In this book, the traditional background, the medical aspects as well as the delightful use of Matcha are made public for the first time.

Dr. Walter Glück has worked in a large naturopathy clinic for over twenty years. As a “pleasure physician”, he deals with the creation of quality of life in a health context. Besides numerous publications, the advancement of the homeopathy is his constant occupation field, for which the honorable “Samuel” was awarded to him in 1998 by the Central German Homeopathic Association. He has done local research in Japan for his book about Matcha.
