This premium Matcha is excellent for Usucha (thin tea), and also for Koicha (thick tea), for which one needs a very high-quality varieties.

    In my opinion this matcha has a too strong umami taste, but is still enjoyable because of a slightly fruity and sweet smell and taste.

    There's a very little hint of grass in the smell, but it has some astringency in the taste reminding me of raw vegetables.
