Genmaicha is an original blend of high quality organic sencha from the first harvest of the year and roasted whole grain rice. Genmaicha is known for its fragrant and refreshing taste of roasted whole grain rice. To enhance this fragrance, it is important to prepare the tea with hot water.

Gentle tea enjoyment for all

Because it is mixed with grains such as brown rice, among others, the amount of tea leaves used in Genmaicha is about half that of Sencha, so the caffeine content is also reduced.

This tea is therefore particularly gentle and is also drunk in Japan by young children, pregnant women and people with sensitive gastrointestinal tracts. One of the benefits is being able to take in healthy ingredients found in both whole grain rice and tea leaves with just one cup of Genmaicha.

Due to the mild and soothing aroma of Genmaicha, it has recently been used in Kyushu to make trendy drinks such as GENMAICHA LATTE, which is especially popular among young people.

Before infusion:

• Shape of leaves: medium tea leaves and whole grain rice in an ideal mixture
• Color: brown roasted brown rice in combination of strong green tea leaves
