Description
First-class and exclusively strong Bio-Matcha for the tea ceremony, without leaf veins ground on a stone milling machine. For producing this Matcha, the five upper-most leaves of the tea shrub are exclusively used; this is however less bitter and “green-tea-like” as compared to Uji Premium Matcha.

Since the Keio era (1865-1868) at the end of the Edo period, the Ookawa family has been producing tea leaves for the production of Matcha for the tea ceremony. The Tencha is gently ground to the finest Matcha on granite stone mills. The result is a balanced, fine Matcha from the famous tea village Uji.
